Compton Avenue Church of Christ

The Compton Avenue Church of Christ has supported church congregations in both Ethiopia and Nigeria for many years.

The generous contributions of our members are facilitated by what is dubbed in the "Afri-Can"

The familiar scene plays out each Sunday near the end of our morning worship, men posts themselves at the exit doors armed with colorful collection cans known as the "Afri-Can" in the hopes of recieving generous donations from our members and visitors. This, we believe, is a great example of "cheerful giving"
